Chapter 33 - Old Flames

Sometime old flames just refuse to go out. Cindy had contacted Claude begging for forgiveness. She truly loved him. He agreed to meet with her and he did it without 'bothering' Margery.

Prompt action was called for.  Mirela paid Cindy a visit.  As before Cindy was cautious, this time the Gypsy woman was somehow, familiar.  But she was reluctant to let her in until she explained that she'd come to discuss making home movies: "Let me in Cindy."

She wasn't sure how, but Cindy found that for the last hour she'd been replaying her old sex movies made with Claude, as Mirela cuddled her and consoled her and she wept bitterly over the loss of her lover. A minute or two ago Mirela had clapped as a scene ended and another began and it somehow, all came back. She realised that Mirela was a true friend. She hadn't been shocked at all as Cindy rubbed herself from time to time and had even said encouraging words and sometimes joined in. Cindy remembers that more than once they kissed.

Cindy was soon sobbing her heart out yet again and Mirela asked if Claude had made a history of dumping girlfriends so suddenly. Cindy told her about Joy.

"What do you think you two have in common," Mirela asked.  Cindy avoided mentioning the stolen recordings but of course, Margery already had copies of those.

"I bet you were both a bit too tame for him. You say he's with some older woman now?  She must have something special in the bedroom department. With that sort it's usually swinging, you know, she brings in a bit of younger talent to make up for her deficiencies in the bedroom."

"That's her Achilles heel.  You're young and very desirable. Now that he's obviously, into three-ways all you need is a girlfriend to help and he'll come back begging for forgiveness."

Cindy was not at all sure. And anyway, she's not a lesbian. And where would she find a girl who would do this with her without falling for him too. There was already one too many women in his life. But when Mirela mentioned the three of them making home movies it seemed like the perfect solution.

Cindy was so excited that she kissed Mirela and Mirela kissed her back.

"Oh no," whispered Mirela: "I can't be your third.  But I would really like to show you what lesbians do with each other. I find you very exciting." This was the first honest statement she'd ever uttered to Cindy.

They'd embraced and were holding each other but when she'd said this Cindy suddenly pushed her away, shocked.

"I know.  You've never been with a woman before. You've never experienced a woman's special understanding. You've never made home movies with a girlfriend. But now there's nothing you want more." And Cindy found that she did.

Without any prompting Cindy enthusiastically delved into her bedside table and took out the camera that she'd evidently used to record her erotic experiences with Claude.

Margery was anything but camera shy but there was no way that she wanted to be seen by Cindy's camera. Fortunately, Mirela just happened to have a virtual reality camera set in her bag that looked like an innocuous headband.

"If we shoot it from your lover's point of view," explained Mirela, as she confiscated Cindy's camera, "with me wearing this, we won't need yours."

But of course, shot from a lover's point of view, this production wasn't to be for Cindy to enjoy. And it wasn't even for Claude. Margery had a different purpose altogether in mind.

Much later, when Cindy was cuddling Mirela contentedly, yet again and tracing circles on her tummy with a finger, Mirela asked:

"So, did you enjoy making home movies with me?"

Cindy's expression went blank and she closed her eyes.

"Claude's lost to you. He's about to marry a seductive sorceress who's twice the woman you are. And that's the only threesome he enjoys. You're to leave him alone from now on."

"But in on the bright side," Mirela continued. "You're now sophisticated, you swing both ways, so you're about to embark on a brilliant new career in adult movies. You must seize that opportunity when it comes knocking."

It took some time for Mirela to get dressed again, with those scarves, lace up boots and so on. And as she did so she gazed at the beautiful naked body on the bed.

"Such a waste," she said under her breath to herself.  Then louder:

"Now Cindy, when you wake, you'll forget I was ever here and should you ever see me you won't remember us ever meeting before."

Her last act, before she walked out the door and clapped, was to bring up Summertime from Porgy and Bess as background music on Cindy's sound system.

Cindy would be wondering when she had undressed and gone to bed. She must have been dreaming. Something about being a porn star?  Stupid dream.

As she rode her hover-bike home over the city Margery shrieked to the sky with triumph and elation. She was well aware that all she needed to have done was give Cindy her final instruction. But the girl was so delicious. Mirela had been a brilliant invention.

Margery's next step was to call on Phillip. She found him in his new hangout, a gay bar downtown.

She enchanted him suggesting that he would enjoy having woman again, in particular an 'up and coming' porn star. After releasing him from his enchantment she showed him a home movie that Cindy had supposedly made 'to promote herself as porn star', seen from the point of view of her lesbian lover. Philip found that he was desperate to meet this hot woman. Margery then suggested that he would like to become a porn star too and that Hank the Shank should be his porn name. Phillip, who until that moment had not realised that being a porn star was what he had always wanted to do in life, loved the name, which seemed quite flattering to his principal asset.

Over the next several days Margery oversaw their courtship, as Cindy who was now totally over Claude, was swept off her feet by Hank, who was wonderfully simpatico, already in tune with her likes and dislikes and even knowing the town she grew up in and remembering some of her friends.

After their rapturous initial meeting, Margery suggested that Hank's next date with Cindy should be boating and a picnic on the bank such as they had once enjoyed. She was laughing at something to do with the name she'd chosen for him. When she refused to say what it was he told her that he'd given up trying to get to the bottom of her jokes. At this she shrieked with laughter and kept giggling off and on, for the next half hour.

The following day Margery outlined her script for his porn movie with Cindy. Using Circe, she remotely coached him on how to prepare Cindy for their big production: step by step; date by date; as their affair continued. Cindy told Hank about her dream in which she had been with another woman and then became a famous star. They agreed that it was wonderful that they were so simpatico that they'd even had similar dreams of sex and fame. They placed an advertisement for another bi-couple to practice with and to co-star in their movie.

Their movie, Cindy Sins and Sins and Sins, featuring Hank the Shank, was one of the hottest of the year and quickly went viral. Downloads of the featured song, Summertime, also skyrocketed.

Cindy has since gone on to fame and fortune in the entertainment business, just as she had dreamt she would, and Margery has yet another unwitting acolyte to do her bidding when called upon.

Europe 2022 - Part 2

In July and August 2022 Wendy and I travelled to Europe and to the United Kingdom (no longer in Europe - at least politically).

This, our first European trip since the Covid-19 pandemic, began in Berlin to visit my daughter Emily, her Partner Guido, and their children, Leander and Tilda, our grandchildren there.

Part 1 of this report touched on places in Germany then on a Baltic Cruise, landing in: Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden and the Netherlands. Read more...

Now, Part 2 takes place in northern France. Part 3, yet to come, takes place in England and Scotland.

The Book of Mormon

Back in the mid 1960's when I was at university and still living at home with my parents in Thornleigh, two dark suited, white shirted, dark tied, earnest young men, fresh from the United States, appeared at our door.

Having discovered that they weren't from IBM my mother was all for shooing them away.  But I was taking an interest in philosophy and psychology and here were two interesting examples of religious fervour.

As I often have with similar missionaries (see: Daniel, the Jehovah’s Witness in Easter on this Website), I invited them in and they were very pleased to tell me about their book.  I remember them poised on the front of our couch, not daring or willing to sit back in comfort, as they eagerly told me about their revelation.

And so it came to pass that a week ago when we travelled to Melbourne to stay with my step-son Lachlan and his family and to see the musical: The Book of Mormon I was immediately taken back to 1964.

Tragedy in Norway

The extraordinary tragedy in Norway points yet again to the dangers of extremism in any religion.

I find it hard to comprehend that anyone can hold their religious beliefs so strongly that they are driven to carefully plan then systematically kill others.  Yet it seems to happen all to often.

The Norwegian murderer, Anders Behring Breivik, reportedly quotes Sydney's Cardinal Pell, John Howard and Peter Costello in his manifesto.   Breivik apparently sees himself as a Christian Knight on a renewed Crusade to stem the influx of Muslims to Europe; and to Norway in particular.
